Bay Pointe Inn offers complimentary self parking on site.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors in the grass. We recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held in a pavilion on the lake (also outside). We recommend a sweater in case it gets chilly at night! The pavilion has heaters and fans to help keep everyone comfortable in the unpredictable Michigan weather.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
We invite you to dress up with us in your best cocktail attire! For women, a pretty dress, any color but white! For men, they can wear a suit or sports jacket and dress shirt.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Our ceremony is at 4:30 PM. We ask that you not arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to find a seat and get settled is suggested.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We have paid for two professional photographers to capture how the ceremony looks. We have invited you so you may capture how the ceremony feels. We ask that you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
There will be an option to let us know about any dietary restrictions when you electronically RSVP! We will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Where should we send/bring gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home or bring it with you. A wedding card box will be at our reception as well.
