Our first trip together! We spent a lovely weekend together in Vermont, Belle saw her first snowflakes, we went for walks by the bay and stopped for crepes!

Our first Christmas together! Belle had never experienced a white Christmas since December is summertime in Brazil, and her fresh perspective on the snow made Matt appreciate it all over again.

Our first winter together! Lots of inside time, weekend trips to Rhode Island and New Hampshire, and walks along the beach in New England!

Between March and April! Belle got to meet everyone from Matt's family and she thought it was a great idea to go to the beach because it was almost spring (it was not though).

Picnics by the lake and weekend trips to the beach in Newburyport MA and Hampton NH filled our month of May 2022. Matt took Belle to visit his hometown, the house where he grew up, and the middle school he attended.

Our first concert together at Fenway Park in Boston! And a lot of time spent in Boston kayaking, hanging out with a couple of friends, and trying new food!

After several road trips in New England, we finally flew together and we did a road trip in California! It was Belle's first time on the west coast (we loved it so much and that's why we went back in 2023, spoiler).

A lot of adventures together from North to South California!

We went to the zoo and aquarium, visited new local places, and spent a lot of quality time that just made us love each other more each day.

We visited the lights show at the zoo! So cool.

We went to a light festival that was so special! It was the same Belle had gone in September 2021 when we started texting each other. We also went apple picking, pumpkin carving, and many other American traditions that Matt was thrilled to share with Belle.

More fall walks to see the foliage and picnics! We went to Matt's best friend's Halloween Party and we went shopping to get matching Christmas pajamas!

And of course, we went back to Vermont on the same date to spend our first anniversary at the same place! It was lovely, and even though Belle was feeling sick for most of the time , Matt took great care of her, as he always does.

This time we had our first Christmas tree up and celebrated our second Christmas together. We hope to keep this tree to set up at our home for many years to come! We did so so much and it was an incredibly busy month between dinner with Matt's friends, gifts for our loved ones, a weekend celebration with Matt's family, and a lot of seasonal movies!

Trip to New England's Natural History Museum, baking carrot cupcakes for Easter with Matt's family, and spending lots of time dreaming and making plans for our future adventures/trips!

We had a blast on our trip to Hawaii! It's one of Matt's favorite places on earth and it was Belle's childhood dream to visit! It was even more special because Matt proposed when we were there.
