Option 1: Car Rental

This option is highly recommended if you plan on exploring the area since taxis are difficult to get in Tuscany. There are multiple car rental options right at Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence (Hertz, Avis, Rent a Car). From Amerigo Vespucci Airport, you will drive ~35-45min to Tenuta di Rota. You can also rent a car closer to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station depending on your travel logistics.

Option 2: Public Transportation

From Amerigo Vespucci Airport, you will take a ~25min local "T2" train to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station.

Once at Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station, you will take a ~45min bullet train to Incisa.

Once at Incisa, you can call for a taxi through these options (AppTaxi or call Vieri at +39 328 9507178). Please note that getting a taxi in Tuscany can be very difficult. If you're unable to get a taxi, we can come pick you up from the Incisa train station as well (~5min drive). Just let us know your expected arrival time!

Purchasing Bullet Train Tickets

You can either purchase your tickets ahead of time or purchase them at the train station. Tickets can be purchased at ItaliaRail.com. The correct route will be from Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Incisa.

There are taxis available at Amerigo Vespucci Airport which you can take directly to Tenuta di Rota.
