Our story all started when our friends Joe and Olivia decided Austin and I would make a good couple. Although, it wouldn't be that easy to get us to meet; I was focused on school and gymnastics in North Carolina and Austin was in his freshman year of college at UT Dallas. Months of pestering from Joe and Olivia passed until Austin was in North Carolina to visit family for the holidays. Consequently, we were able to met for the first time in person on New Year's Eve. However, I was still pretty stubborn. It wasn't until a couple weeks after Austin had gone back to Texas that we started to talk. More time passed before I had opened up and we found that we had a lot in common. Since then, we continue learning about one another and are working to achieve our dreams together.

A couple years later, I ended up choosing to attend Texas A&M University for civil engineering. It wasn't until Austin attended my freshman orientation that he decided he wanted to become an Aggie as well. Transferring and getting into the computer science department was difficult, but he was able to do it. By the time our graduation came in 2020, we both had offers to continue on at A&M for our doctorates. Presently, we are still pursuing our PhDs and lean on each other for support.

We have been together for quite a long time, but there are still endless adventures we want to experience and more we would like to share.
