Anna had just gotten over recovering from a tonsillectomy and her roommate convinced her to go to Appleton to visit a friend for Octoberfest. A handsome man approached Anna with the group, and tried to strike up a conversation. Anna politely conversed with him, discussing her drive up until she saw her friend, at which point she promptly announced "I need a drink!' and walked away.

The rest of the evening J.R. spent his time trying to get next to Anna and getting to know each other. Anna texted her friends about the "cute guy" she met, and J.R.'s friends hyped him up that Anna was definitely "into him". The night ended, and they parted ways. Thankfully, J.R. found Anna on instagram, and the impatient person that Anna is, she slid into his DMs first.

They talked briefly, J.R. asked her on a date, and the rest is history. From the 2nd date, Anna knew that this was the kind of guy that you marry, and almost 2 years to the date, she'll be doing just that - marrying the cute guy she met on College Avenue.
