Join us on Saturday October 12th to keep the fun going! We have booked a sand volleyball court at the back of "The Bar" in Oshkosh, WI from 3:30 - 5:30. If you're visiting from out of town, or an in town-er who didn't get enough time hanging out with JR ;), feel free to join us! No need to play sand volleyball to come, there are tables to sit, and food and drinks available to order!

There are so many things to do in Oshkosh! Read below for some of our favorites and personal recommendations! Check out Discover Oshkosh for updates on any activities around!

Parm & Taqueria (bonus points if you're staying at the Townplace because these are basically in the parking lot)

Gardina's - this is the home to our second date, and delicious appetizers!

Beckett's - one of our favorite reasonably priced steaks and nice dining along the river!

EAA - an Oshkosh staple, if you're into planes or anything that has to do with flying, this museum is for you.

Menomonee Park - catch us here in the summer playing some pickleball and jumping in the lake. See the free petting zoo, and check out the water sport rentals (dependent on weather).

Bar 430 - stop by for a cocktail or a gastro-pub menu. Also serves yummy brunch!

Elsewhere Coffee & Cafe - enjoy an adorable market while you sip some coffee. There are lots of places to cozy up with a good book!

Fox River Brewing Co. - enjoy a nice beer, or their famous crispy chicken

If you're in the mood for a quick drive, head to the town where we met!

High Cliff State Park - take a dip if it's warm enough, or hike one of the many trails for some scenic and beautiful views.

Deja Vu - yummy martini's in an old fashioned "swanky" bar. This is where JR made his first move - offering Anna a glass of water

Player 2 Arcade Bar- if you like arcade games, this bar is for you. Anna has only beat J.R. once at pinball, but you might stand a chance.

Carmella's - J.R.'s favorite Italian restaurant. Make sure to save room for dessert - Anna didn't the first time they went and JR won't let her live it down that he missed out on their Tiramisu

Draft Gastropub - another of J.R.'s favorites, with unique drinks and meal items - the fried goat cheese is delicious!

Stone Arch Brewpub- may be the best cheese curds in the area. Stop here and then head upstairs to Skyline Comedy Club!

If you flew in from Milwaukee, or are in the mood for a quick hour drive - check out Anna's hallmark hometown for good drinks, dining, and cozy small town feels. Any Wilde family member can give you a good recommendation, but Anna's favorites are below!

Stilt House - small gastro pub and wine bar. Rotating menu with delicious appetizers. Their maple bacon aioli is a must!

Union House - tapas style dining with tons of delicious appetizers to choose from. Unique cocktail menu, and a great place to try a Wisconsin Classic old fashioned.

PJ Pipers - this is a Cedarburg staple, be prepared to wait if you go for brunch - but it's well worth it. The triple chocolate chip pancakes are Anna's go to.

Out & Out - another Cedarburg staple, known for their mac and cheese and panini's. You can't go wrong with the Americano or 3 Cheese Chicken Mac

Chocolate Factory - some of the best subs and ice cream you can get. Anna's order is a The Phoenix with peanut butter cookie dough ice cream.

Amy's- if the ice cream wasn't enough, head next door to the delicious smelling Amy's Candy's and try one of their famous Caramel Apple's. Make sure to ask them to cut it for you!

Coffee Shops - Cedarburg is home to bars and coffee shops, Fiddleheads is Anna's favorite, but all the Wilde family coffee drinkers prefer the Roastery, good news, they're right next door to each other, so try them both!

Downtown - Cedarburg's historic downtown is home to all of the above places, as well as tons of cute shops, and more bars, coffee shops, etc. Check out the historic mill that is home to Cedarburg's winery as well as more cute shops!

If you have enough time, head up to Green Bay to check out Lambeau Field, or drive to Door County ! These are 2 additional Wisconsin Gems within a couple hours of driving from Oshkosh. If you go to Door County, be sure to check out the Sister Bay Beach where J.R. proposed.
