What is the dress code?

We request cocktail attire, but have some fun with it! Maybe you have some sweet sneakers you'd like to dance in, or maybe karaoke brings out the pop star inside and you'd prefer sequins? Bring it on!

Is there an open bar?

There will be an open bar available starting from the cocktail hour until the end of the night.

May I bring a plus-one? May I bring my child?

Our hosting capacity is limited to a certain number and there is no child care facility in the event space, so please contact either the bride or the groom to confirm their ability to accommodate anyone beyond those explicitly mentioned on your invitation.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The venue is not wheelchair accessible, as it is upstairs with no elevator access. If this impacts you, please contact the bride or groom with concerns.

What should I sing? Do I HAVE to sing?

Nobody will be required to sing, but this is a judgement-free zone so if your heart moves to you sing, we will cheer you on! Karaoke is for everyone. :) As for which song(s) to choose, we encourage danceable tunes and anything celebratory or joyful. Our karaoke will be provided by the inimicable John Brophy of Baby Ketten Karaoke, whose song selection is available online. You can search through it ahead of time for things you'd like to sing ( https://book.babyketten.com/ ) or flip through his songbook in hard copy at the reception. We think you'll find a lot to get excited about in there!

What about a rehearsal dinner?

We will not be doing a "rehearsal dinner" per se, but on Thursday April 18th, we will hold a welcome dinner for our out-of-town family and friends, to meet and mingle before the Big Day. This dinner will be from 6-10 pm at a private room at the Lucky Labrador Brew Pub at 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd. This dinner is casual, wear whatever you want; we'll be enjoying pizzas and beer and good company!
