Pizza Week, runs through Sunday the 21st. Loads of local pizza joints create a special pizza and sell it by the slice for a very good price, a great way to spend the day is to rent a bike and hit as many pizza places as you can! Tip well, it gets wild out there

SE

5801 SE 28th Ave, Portland, OR 97214

Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden

Small parking lot, might have to park in neighborhood around Reed College and walk there, closes at 4, pretty flowers, pretty cheap entrance, can easily kill an hour or two, Liz saw a bald eagle there

Free on Mondays, $5 entry other days

Quarterworld, 4811 SE Hawthorne. an all-ages arcade with loads of pinball, arcade games, and fun stuff for kids and adults alike. They serve drinks and pizza as well.

Slappy Cakes, 4246 SE Belmont Ave. It’s a place where you make your own pancakes at the table, loads of fun toppings, kids LOVE it

Portland Axe Throwing, 5901 SE Foster Rd

Thrifting/Consignment Stores: SE Hawthorne Ave has a Buffalo Exchange, Red Light, and a few other nifty spots within a several-block radius!!

Red Fox Vintage on SE Woodstock is also a great place for neat finds.

Wyrd Meadery & Leatherworks, 4515 SE 41st Ave: a brewery that specializes in mead, with the most IMMACULATE fantasy vibes. We’re talking stone floors, open fire places, suits of armor, and bartenders dressed as elves. The actors who played the hobbits in LOTR love the place and visit it when they’re in town.

Coffin Club, 421 SE Grand Ave. It’s a goth themed bar that has dance nights every weekend, a great vibe, coffins, etc. It’s also near other dance spots like Swan Dive and Lollipop Shoppe that are not particularly themed, lol. But if you wanna go out dancing, SE Grand Ave has a good variety of spots!

Creepy’s, 627 SE Morrison Ave. Clown-themed bar. A fun place, but don’t get the pickle-tini unless you like sweet pickles…
