Jack and Cheyenne first met during freshman year of college at Bemidji State University. They actually lived on the same floor but never seemed to talk much. Throughout the first semester of college, they actually had a class together and Jack never noticed Cheyenne until the very last day of class where he actually shouted "Cheyenne! You're in this class?" Yes, she was in the same class... all semester, Jack slept but she usually stayed awake for the whole lecture. After that Jack and Cheyenne would run into each other more often. They shared another class together where Jack and another friend of theirs would dig through Cheyenne's backpack to find a snack, jolly ranchers, or gum. Then Jack learned that Cheyenne could sew and their interactions became more frequent. Jack would come over with a pile of clothing missing buttons, rips in the side, and Cheyenne would fix them.&nbsp; Once Covid hit, they would only talk about their science class and complain about reading 25 articles and writing journal entries about them. However, the two would soon be back in Bemidji living within two blocks of each other and their friendship grew. There always seemed to be something happening at Jack's house, but living with 5 other roommates, could you expect anything else? And Cheyenne and her two roommates would go over. There would be dinner nights with everyone, games nights, and maybe even a party or two. However, later in the fall, thanks to a couple of friends, the two started hanging out more. Jack would use the excuse of seeing Pipa (Cheyenne's Golden Retriever) however, that wasn't why he wanted to hang out. They would spend the evening watching a movie, visiting with friends, or just hanging out and talking. Eventually Jack decided he wanted to ask Cheyenne out.&nbsp; After spending 13 hours in a car with her roommate and the new kitten she got (Mr. Dennis) Cheyenne came home to a surprise. She went into her room to take a phone call and when she walked out Jack was waiting with dinner, a movie, flowers, and candy. Ever since, the two have been together. Since they have been together, it is rare to see them apart thanks to Jack. That man never leaves her alone haha! Not long after they started dating they introduced each other to their friends and families. Both were equally as nervous for those bigger steps. Eventually Jack moved in with Cheyenne and they started planning more serious things together. Things like vacations, and cabin trips, and bigger life events like what are we doing after college?&nbsp; Eventually Jack decided he wanted to propose and snuck off to buy a ring. Jack had a few ideas in mind and sneakily brought it up to see what Cheyenne thought about it. Jack originally planned to get engaged while they were on their cruise in March of 2024, however, he became nervous when he thought of traveling with the ring. He then began thinking of other places that held special meaning to the both of them. He eventually decided to choose the cabin for this special event and began coordinating with everyone. Jack secretly brought it up to his friends the week of the cabin trip and everyone was helping him figure out final details.&nbsp; During this time Cheyenne was occupied with family situations and starting work so she had no idea of any plan that was being set in motion. Jack met up with his friends early Friday evening and Cheyenne followed behind later with no idea what was happening. The next day, May 27th, the group headed out for their normal four-wheeler ride. They got onto the Soo Line and started their trek. They all ended up stopping at the Soo Line High Bridge not too far from the cabin and went to look at the view. While Jack was getting nervous, his friend Tanner was jobbed with keeping Cheyenne focused on something else while he prepared. So while Tanner and Cheyenne were racing rocks off the high bridge, Jack queued Tanner to move. Tanner was too occupied and actually missed the queue a few times before noticing what happened. Eventually Tanner stepped away (as seen in the photo haha) leaving Cheyenne standing there to turn around to Jack on one knee. Forgetting the speech he had prepared, Jack asked “Will you marry me?” while tears rushed down Cheyenne’s face.&nbsp; Everyone celebrated after she replied “yes”, and calls were made, and texts were sent. Soon families and friends were reaching out congratulating the couple on their new engagement. Not long after getting engaged, Cheyenne and Jack found their dream venue and booked it for the year of 2025. With family health in mind and real life after college starting, the two decided to prolong their engagement to let things settle first. Now the two are happily and readily planning their wedding day!

Tanner has been a friend of Jack's since elementary school. Even though Jack moved to Bemidji for college, these two have never failed to make time to catch up over a really LONG phone call, or make plans to meet up for the weekend. Recently we have discovered Tanner searching for flights to come to the range to visit. Jack couldn't imagine his wedding day without Tanner by his side. 

Tanner - Friend of the Groom

There was a point in our life where if you invited one of us to an event, both of us would be there. Katie and I were inseparable. However, life gets in the way. But that hasn't stopped us from hanging out, talking over FaceTime, hosting the other for the night, and sharing work stories. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her, and I am beyond excited to have her by my side. 

Katie (Jarvi) - Friend of the Bride

DJ and Jack have been great friends since high school. They actually even roomed together for their first year of college, and then became roommates while sharing a house with 4 other guys. These two enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors together. DJ is a great friend to both the bride and groom and we couldn't have asked for a better person to be a part of our day.

Skylar is the cousin of Cheyenne. Once the two were older, they seemed to grow closer. Skylar would come and visit Bemidji, and I would stop and see her while I was home. Since both being back on the Range, we have spent many nights having dinner, playing pool, going to the movies, or just hanging out. I couldn't wait to ask her to be a part of our day. 

Skylar - Cousin/Friend of the Bride

Cody is Jack's older brother. Cody and Jack share many good memories together like playing baseball in their backyard, or playing Scooby-Doo video games on the computer. Cody has helped Jack in many ways and is a great role model for Jack to have in his life. Jack was undeniably excited to ask for Cody to be a part of our day.

Sydney and Cheyenne met while in college. Over the final year of school, Sydney spent a lot of time at our house studying, playing Luigi's Mansion, Ticket to Ride, or just sharing stories and experiences we had while teaching. Sydney is a great friend of both the bride and groom, and we never doubted having her share this day with us.

Kyle has alway been a great friend. He and Jack share some great memories whether they were messing with each other, ice fishing, or four-wheeling. Kyle has always been a great mechanic when Jack is ever in need of help. Jack couldn't imagine going throughout his wedding day without hearing one of Kyle's weird quotes.

Gwen has been a friend of Jack's since high school. However, once Jack and Cheyenne started dating Gwen always made Cheyenne feel like a part of the group. Since then Gwen and Cheyenne have grown their friendship and love to sit and chat when the guys go do their own thing. 

Gwen - Friend of Bride and Groom

Duck hunting and ice fishing have always been Jack and Kyle's go-to plans if the season fits; otherwise drinking a couple of Coors and chatting has always been a blast for them. Not only is Kyle a good friend of Jack's but since meeting, Cheyenne and Big Shooter have always gotten along. One year for his birthday she even got him his favorite chips, guacamole Tostitos. We can't wait to have the life of the party celebrating with us. 

Kyle (Big Shooter) - Friend of Groom

Cheyenne and Callie met during their freshman year of college at Bemidji State. They actually lived on the same floor. We started hanging out more during sophomore year and eventually became roommates for the last two years of college. Callie was my go-to person whenever I needed a laugh or cheering up. She knows how to make those around her feel better. We couldn't have asked for a better friend to share our day with us. 

Callie - Friend of Bride

Good ole' Dawson Miller! He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Jack and Dawson have always loved going on four-wheeler rides, spending time at the cabin, or even just hanging out at Dawson's house. Dawson has always been a go-to person to chat about things going on in life. We can't wait for him to share our day with us. 

Dawson - Friend of Groom 

Donny is the best big brother anyone could ask for. Even though he and Cheyenne weren't always the closest when they were younger, once college hit, Cheyenne considered him one of her best friends. She would always make trips to go visit him, and when visiting the cities, they usually try and make plans to meet up even if it's just to visit for an hour or two. She loves spending time with her brother, and has many great stories of them together. We couldn't imagine him not being a part of our day. 

Donny - Brother of the Bride 

Noah is Jack's little brother. Even though he gets under Jack's skin (like every little brother) Jack could't imagine life without him. They share many great memories together like playing cops and robbers together at the cabin, and working at summer camp together.

There will be a shuttle service running 2 times throughout the night to bring people back to the hotel. Please check the travel tab on which locations it will be going to. Shuttle Service times roughly 8:30pm, 11:30pm. Please remember that cars need to be picked up from the venue by 11am on Sunday. Please plan accordingly to get your cars picked up in the morning if you plan on using the shuttle.
