Both the ceremony and reception are located on the same grounds: Wilderness Wedding Barn.

Our wedding colors are navy blue and emerald green. Please kindly refrain from wearing these two colors along with white so there is no confusion on who is in the wedding party or immediate family to the bride or groom.

We ask that you RSVP online through our wedding website, however, we know some people are unable to do so. If that is the case, please let the bride or groom know and we can make sure you get placed on our list.

During cocktail hour, the bride and groom are offering signature drinks and covering the cost at that time. Once we head into the venue for dinner and the dance, we will have a cash bar. The venue also offers lemonade, water, and coffee for those who would enjoy these options instead.

We would love for your kids to be a part of our wedding day, however, we would kindly ask that your kids do not attend. We would like to make this an adults only event.

Due to the fire code at our venue we are limited to the amount of people we can invite. If it is not indicated on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring a plus one. Those listed on the invitation are those we have seats saved for.

Yes. We plan on having a shuttle available for guests to use if you celebrate with us for the evening. Refer to the travel tab for more information on where the shuttles are dropping off guests. You are able to leave your vehicle at the venue but it needs to be picked up the following day (9/14) by 11am.

We would love for you to be dressed up with us for our wedding. We ask that guests come dressed in either formal or semi-formal attire. We would love to see you in your best dressed! :)

Of course! However, we ask that our ceremony be device free. Due to the set up of our ceremony spot (I can't share too much because it spoils it) phones and photos can be very distracting. We hired a professional photographer to help us take photos of the ceremony, so please just sit back, relax, and spend this amazing moment with us. After the ceremony, you may take all the photos you would like! :)

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors weather permitting. However, our reception will be inside. The venue does offer lawn games, a campfire, and nice little spots to talk if weather is cooperative.

Our venue has a designated smoking area. This is located between the Wilderness Wedding Barn and the bathrooms. Please make sure you are only smoking there. Thank you!

We are blocking off rooms at hotels in Grand Rapids For those of you who would like to make a full weekend out of this event, there are also RV parks located by the venue!

We are offering our guests a pasta bar! Please fill out your preference on our RSVP section. But for those curious we are having: two choices of pasta, garlic green beans, a side salad, and dinner roll. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please indicate that when you fill out your RSVP so we can accommodate that for you. :)

No, you can stay wherever you would like! However, we do request that you have a sober ride planned to get you to your destination at the end of the night.
