Three and a half years ago, we both were single and little did we know that we had some people very close to us working behind the scenes to set us up. Matt’s sister, Carie, works with Jackelyn’s good friend Brooklyn and her aunt Becky. Carie was asking Brooklyn one day if she knew of anyone for her brother to meet, Becky overheard and joined the conversation and both suggested that he meet Jackelyn. A couple weeks later, they met for drinks in Eau Claire. They got to know each other while snowshoeing and hiking with their dogs, checking out the local breweries, camping and traveling.

Since meeting over three years ago, they've traveled to 2 different countries, a few different states, camped in new campgrounds and hiked new trails together... most often bringing their boys (Rusty and Wilson) along for the ride.

When they're not outside adventuring or hanging out with friends and family, they'll usually be found trying to get the many house projects complete...hello 3 season room that's been two years in the remodel phase!
