Our Wedding

It all started with a Saturday morning barefoot soccer game on the lakefront, Tito's shots throughout the afternoon and grilled cheese macaroni and cheese sandwiches to cap off the night. Neither Chris nor Jackie expected that lakefront spot, directly next to the Chevron statue, to become one of the most monumental moments in their relationship.   After spending the day together, the two failed to exchange contact information with one another. Jackie woke up the next day expecting to never see Chris again. He was moving to Arizona, and she had a lease in Chicago. Plus, she suspected he'd have asked for her phone number if he was interested in seeing her again. Chris woke up early for a round of golf with his brother and some buddies deeply regretting not exchanging digits. From there, he worked backwards and searched Instagram for Jackie and Chris's mutual connections. After coming across Jackie's profile, he followed her. Jackie was walking to meet friends at breakfast when she noticed a follow request. It was the cute boy from the lake. Maybe she would see him again after all.   The rest is history. One Saturday led to another. One weekend trip to Arizona led to an extended trip. An extended trip led to a cross country move. And one cross-country move led to a life filled with lots of fun, lots of happiness, lots of fitness, and most importantly, lots of love.
