Our advice for finding somewhere to stay is to avoid the west side-specifically Lahaina, if possible. We encourage you to look at South Maui. For cheaper options, you may want to look at Wailuku, or Kahului--both are about a 20ish minute drive to Kihei.

We recommend renting a car! There's so much to do on the island, and you'll want an easy method of transportation.
