Welcome to Maui! In the last few years, Maui has undergone a lot of hardship and change. With COVID and the recent fires, please note that many places on the island are struggling. We call on all of our guests to be mindful, courteous, and empathetic to all of the locals, the lands, and the ocean. Please do not touch sealife, please recycle and please leave your bad manners at home. For the Kamaaina, welcome home. This is an opportunity for so many people around the world to come together and celebrate love. We will ask that everyone coming together is respectful of each other, leaves negativity on the mainland, and comes with happy and open hearts.

Our advice for finding somewhere to stay is to avoid the west side-specifically Lahaina, if possible. We encourage you to look at South Maui. For cheaper options, you may want to look at Wailuku, or Kahului--both are about a 20ish minute drive to Kihei.

We recommend renting a car! There's so much to do on the island, and you'll want an easy method of transportation.

Ho'okipa Beach Park

If you are up for an adventure and are planning on staying on Maui for a while. You will get to experience the full Hawaiian rainforest and lots of waterfalls. If you plan on doing this, we would recommend planning all day for this adventure.

A beautiful state park for a more leisurely day. Reservations required for non-hawaii residents

ʻĪao Valley State Monument

Ryan says go for sunset rather than sunrise. If you go for sunset, you wont need an advance reservation or have to wake up at 3 am (yuck). Plan for a longer day and bring a jacket it gets really cold at 10,000 ft altitude.
