What is the Journeyman lodge?

The Journeyman Lodge is a 22 bed catered backcountry lodge featuring a sauna, lake access, and hiking trails through beautiful alpine meadows and glaciated mountain peaks.


We have the whole lodge rented out for Friday to Sunday, September 12th - September 14 for everyone to enjoy!

What to bring:

The lodge provides all bedding, bath towels, and meals (Breakfast, bag lunch, dinner) except breakfast/lunch on Friday.


Please bring:

- Casual lodge attire/footwear

- Garden party attire for ceremony

- Swim suit for the lake and sauna/ beach towel

- Toiletries


Hiking/outdoor wear:

- Hiking boots/shoes

- Clothing layers/rain jacket/windbreaker

- Water bottle

- Backpack

- Hat/sunglasses

- Sunscreen

- Bug repellent

- Snacks

What is the weather like at the lodge?

September is often nice here, but can have showers or even snow at times. Expect temperatures at night down to 5C or 38F and daytime from 15-25C or 50-70F. Bring warm clothes so you can enjoy time outside even if it's a bit chilly!

Meals

The lodge provides continental breakfast, bagged lunch, appies, and a three course dinner.


Arrival day will just have appies and dinner, so pack a lunch.

Departure day, breakfast and lunch are provided.

What is there to drink?

We will be bringing a large supply of canned beverages (beer, hard tea, mixed drinks, non-alcoholic) and wine.

How do we get to the lodge?

See the travel page above. Shuttle or gravel road/hike options available.

Cellphone service

Generally, there is no service at the higher elevations, but the Rogers network can pick up a signal in some locations. WIFI is available at the lodge. We will bring an InReach for satellite communication as needed.
