Zach and Jackie met on their Welcome Weekend at Aurora University, back in August of 2015. They were attending a seminar with their respective friend groups, when they ended up sitting next to each other. Zach took it upon himself to introduce himself to Jackie, and from there, the rest is history.

How The Couple Met

For their first date, they bonded over their love of good food, and took a trip to Maggiano's (which has now become their anniversary dinner spot every year). From there, Zach took Jackie to the Naperville Riverwalk where a festival and concert was going on. They danced to "In the Air Tonight" and Zach decided to make it official!
