Q + A
Is there a dress code for the wedding day?
The attire is formal cocktail wear. We would prefer our guests to dress in summer colors, however any color is okay.
Are children invited?
Please reach out to Sean and Jaclyn if you wish to include your children
Do I get a plus one?
While we would love to include everyone, plus one's are only included if you received one on the wedding invitation.
Where do I stay for the wedding?
There are quite a few options of Airbnb's and our preferred hotels that are located on our travel tab. We recommend to book ASAP as reservations are limited due to summer travel season.
What do I need to when driving to and from Mexico?
Driver's License, Passport, $10 USD cash for toll roads, and car insurance. If your insurance company does not cover this part of Mexico please head over to our travel tab for more info.
What if I dont want to drive in Mexico?
There are a variety of options depending on your situation. Our transportation list in our travel tab has a few companies that will pick you and your group in the US or at the border crossing. Uber and taxis are also available for transportation but please be advised, Uber and Lyft are not available for pickup at the venue
What is the best way to get back and forth from the venue?
We will be offering a shuttle with a private driver during the day of our wedding. If you are looking for a single trip we recommend taking a taxi. Please call and arrange for a taxi when you are ready to leave the property and return to your hotel.
Villa staff can help you contact local taxis.
Is there Uber in Mexico?
You can only take an Uber from the US/Mexico border to Villa del Paraiso or hotels to the property.
There is no Uber service on the property or in the town of Primo Tapia where the wedding venue is located.
What are Sentri and Global Entry Cards?
Both cards will provide you with access to SENTRI lanes at the border and expedited processing at the
border.
What’s the difference? SENTRI is tailored for frequent US - Mexico land border crossers, while Global
Entry is focused on air travel but also provides benefits at land borders.
Vehicle registration: if you plan to drive your personal car to and from Mexico and you hold a
SENTRI or global entry card, ensure the vehicle is registered in the SENTRI system. This is
mandatory.
Passenger Requirement: All passengers in the vehicle must be SENTRI or Global Entry card owners. A
passport card does not count. If a non-member is in the car, you cannot use the SENTRI lanes.
