The ceremony begins at 5:00pm, but we ask that guests arrive at 4:30pm and are seated no later than 4:45pm

Guests that are interested in a professional picture with the couple will be invited to stay at the ceremony space. Guests that opt out of this will be invited to attend cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony

Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30pm and will end at 6:30pm

Reception will promptly follow cocktail hour. It will begin at 6:30pm and will end at 10:30pm

The dress code for the evening is Semi-formal/Cocktail. Women are invited to wear a cocktail, midi, or maxi dress. Or if they prefer, a pantsuit or jumpsuit. Men are invited to wear a dark suit or a suit jacket/blazer, a dress shirt, and dress pants. Photo examples may be found on the dress code tab using the drop-down menu on the homepage

For Dayton, OH in August, you can expect a high in the mid-low 80's with a low in the mid-low 60's

The wedding will be entirely indoors. This will include the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception

Yes the Lift is temperature controlled with both air conditioning and heat as weather requires

If you are staying at The Marriott at The University of Dayton, complementary shuttle service is available! It runs daily from 7am-10:45pm. Please check at the hotel welcome desk for more information

Free private, surface lot parking is available in front of the building. Additional handicap parking is available in the private, surface lot located on the side of the building

Vehicles may be left in the Lift parking lot at the owners expense. The Lift owners and/or Bride/Groom will not be held responsible for any potential theft/damage

The Lift requires all vehicles that were left parked overnight be picked up the following morning by 10:30am

The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are invite only. Please look for an invite to come with the necessary details. If you think you should be attending and do not receive an invite, please reach out to Mikayla at 937-479-4164 to confirm attendance. Otherwise, guests are invited to visit the “Best of Dayton” attractions listed in the following tabs on the homepage: Things to Do & Places to Eat

Due to space this will be a child free event. Please make prior child care accommodations and enjoy a child-free evening!

Due to space and the intimacy of the event, plus one's/others not listed on the invitation will not be permitted

Unfortunately, there will not be a virtual streaming of the wedding. Please look for pictures shared by the Bride and Groom to share in celebration of their special day

Throughout cocktail hour guests can enjoy a chef attended station for personalized small bites. During reception guests will be invited to enjoy various chef attended stations to create their individualized meal. An open bar will be available for guests to enjoy with a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages

Yes. Licensed bartenders will be serving the following alcoholic beverages: domestic beer, red wine, white wine, rosé wine, and hard seltzer in assorted flavors. Non alcoholic beverages will be available to guests including: water, soda, lemonade, and tea. No outside beverages will be permitted.

The couple is registered at Pottery Barn, Target, Amazon, and Etsy. You can find the individual items linked through the Knot on the Registry page using the drop-down menu. The ceremony will be unplugged. Please do not take any pictures and/or videos during the ceremony

The couple asks that you do not share any pictures or videos that include them until AFTER they are able to share their own professional photos and video. Guests are welcome to share pictures of themselves/the space freely
