Marjabelle and Jake met at a Sounders game on March 25, 2017 through mutual friends right after Jake had moved to Washington from Ohio.

A few years later, in September of 2019, they found each other again and had their first date at Fred's Rivertown Alehouse.

Not even a few weeks later and she had him driving her to the airport for her various travels. And in less than a month, they made it official.

Less than six months into their relationship, Covid hit where they were forced to have, in essence, a long distance relationship even though they were a mere twelve miles apart. They spent a lot of their time texting and Facetiming and made it out the other end.

Since then they have grown more and more both as individuals and as partners. They love to travel, explore local breweries and restaurants, and OCCASIONALLY Jake gets his way and they have a quiet day relaxing with no plans whatsoever.
