Jacob boldly sent an Instagram message to Frannè, after making minimal small talk about politics and religion, only to be turned down. She kindly informed him that she was in her "season of singleness". . . But not for long! ;) After several attempts, Frannè finally agreed to join Jacob in watching an autocross event, and realized that he wasn't the wierdo, homeschooled, afro-headed, nerdy guy that his Instagram portrayed. With patience and persistence, Jacob planned several adventures for them to embark on together. It wasn't long until they both realized that as their love was blossoming, God was slowly revealing how He was guiding their path towards marriage. In all of the little details, He showed that He had heard their prayers for their future spouse, and had provided exactly what each of them needed in each other.

South Africa is the birthplace of the bride, Frannè Annelie Kleynhans. Having the wedding there will be the first time in 11 years her and her family will get to revisit their homeland. Brits, the location of the wedding, is located just 45 minutes East of Rustenburg, the birthplace of her and her mother and father. In 2012, the Kleynhans family returned to the roots of their father's childhood, living in Rustenburg for two years before returning to the United States.
