Our Wedding

Jasmyn and Jacob met in 2019 at The International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jasmyn's old friend from Ruidoso knew Jacob's friend Daron. This is how they were introduced. They hit it off right away! Jacob introduced her to all the family and friend's on the last Saturday of Fiesta. Since that day they have been inseparable. They survived their first year through covid, between Jasmyn living at the UNM Cottages and Jacob living at home. Through all this they discovered they have a lot in common. They couldn't wait for the lockdown to be lifted. They both love to travel, ski, snowboard, golf and they also went skydiving together. Now that's Amore! They have supported each other through jobs, school and starting a balloon business called StrangeKind Ballooning, along side their friend Adam. They rented their first apartment together in 2021. They lived there with their puppies Jupiter and Daphne. They soon realized they needed more space and a yard for the pups, so they rented a townhouse. This house was conveniently close to both of their jobs. They lived there for a year. Then talk of buying a house came up. They moved in with Jacob's parents for 6 month's to save and look for their first home, which they closed on in November of 2023. A few months later Jacob told his parents he wanted to propose to Jasmyn. They were very excited to hear this great news! He wanted to take Jas on a vacation and propose at a beautiful location. He decided on South Beach, Miami. On August 19th, 2024, Jasmyn said YES! With the help of our amazing friends Brandon and Stephanie. They helped set up Jacob's vision on the beach and took pictures and videos to mark the special occasion. Once home, they decided they wanted to get married in Italy. They booked the location and date on September 2nd, 2024. Wedding planning was underway. The engagement party was on October 19th, 2024. The Bridgerton Royal Tea Bridal Proposal was on June 21st, 2025. Jacob had a day with his guys at.....and asked them to be his groomsmen. Jasmyn said YES TO THE DRESS on 10/25/25 in Santa Fe, NM. Jasmyn's bridal shower is in Albuquerque at The Rhythm Bar on June 20th, 2026.

We are aware that budgeting, scheduling time away from family and work may pose challenges, so if this time does not fit into your current situation we sincerely understand.Thank you for your continuous love, as we we begin a new chapter of our lives together. We can not wait for the BIG DAY and look forward to celebrating with you all - near or far! We are so excited for you to join us! Due to our Villa limitations we are unable to accommodate plus-ones and children under 18 years of age. We are only able to invite those listed on the invitation. We wish we could include everyone. Thank you for understanding! We will require a non-refundable deposit for each guest who will be staying at the Villa we have reserved. This amount will go towards your stay. We require this deposit due to our limited guest space. We will not be able to accommodate guests backing out and leaving us with their amount to cover. Since this is a destination wedding it is unlikely another guest will be able to cover your spot last minute. The non-refundable deposit amount per guest will be $300. This will be due on or by April 12th, 2026. The remainder will be due July 20th, 2026. Please send via venmo, cash app or apple pay. If you are staying at a hotel near by, then you do not need to pay the non-refundable deposit. You will only pay for your stay at that hotel through their website or however you may be booking your room. Deadline to RSVP is April 12th 2026. Henry Rosas, Jasmyn’s grandfather, was going to walk her down the aisle alongside her mom, Tasha. Although he is no longer able to attend, he remains such an important part of our lives. We’re sorry you can’t be there physically, but we truly feel your love and support. We love you!

We have scheduled in 3 events at the Villa and the rehearsal dinner in town at Ciao Ciao. If you are planning to stay longer, please be mindful that you will need to organize your own things to do and transport outside of these 3 days. Prior to the wedding we have things scheduled such as meetings with the wedding planner, wedding rehearsals etc, as well as Villa staff setting up for events. Therefore we ask kindly that you only visit the villa according to the 3 events scheduled. We have put some suggestions on things to do below.

The immediate family for Jasmyn and Jacob and bridal party will be staying at the Villa we have reserved. The guests who will be staying in Villa San Crispolto. The cost per guest for the week will be approx., $670. Prices may change due to tariffs and the value of our dollar.
