It all started in the Army Reserve, where we met while working together at a field hospital. Over time, our shared experiences built a strong friendship that lasted for over a year before we realized there was something more between us.

In October 2024, we took the next step in our journey together when Jacob proposed at Halibut Point State Park in Massachusetts—a beautiful spot that perfectly captured our love for nature and adventure. It was the easiest "yes" of Dhanya’s life!

Since then, life has been an exciting whirlwind. Dhanya graduated from nursing school and is now working as a nurse, while Jacob transitioned to the National Guard and is continuing his education at UMass Boston.

Together, we love to travel, cook, eat, and hike, always looking for our next adventure. Our relationship has been built on friendship, laughter, and shared dreams, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter as husband and wife!
