Our Wedding

It all started in the Army Reserve, where we met while working together at a field hospital. Over time, our shared experiences built a strong friendship that lasted for over a year before we realized there was something more between us.In October 2024, we took the next step in our journey together when Jacob proposed at&nbsp;Halibut Point State Park in Massachusetts—a beautiful spot that perfectly captured our love for nature and adventure. It was the easiest "yes" of Dhanya’s life!Since then, life has been an exciting whirlwind. Dhanya&nbsp;graduated from nursing school&nbsp;and is now working as a nurse, while Jacob&nbsp;transitioned to the National Guard&nbsp;and is continuing his education at UMass Boston.Together, we love to&nbsp;travel, cook, eat, and hike, always looking for our next adventure. Our relationship has been built on friendship, laughter, and shared dreams, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter as husband and wife!&nbsp;

Our Story

Wedding Reception Timeline 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Cocktail Hour — Please enjoy drinks, light hors d’oeuvres, and time to mingle with family and friends. 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM Welcome &amp; Special Moments — Announcements, the first dance, and toasts.6:30 PM Dinner Service Begins8:00 PM Dessert &amp; Dancing — Join us on the dance floor as we celebrate the evening.10:00 PM Farewells — Thank you for sharing this special day with us.

As we begin our life together, we would love to fill our home with meals connected to the people we love most. Instead of a traditional guest book, we invite you to share a favorite recipe with us.
