Jacqueline and Zachary met at the softball field watching their sisters (Julia and Meagen) practice. There was an underlying tension between them for over a decade with a friendship built in sarcasm and cynicism, before the right moment, situation, and timing arose when they finally admitted to each other that there were deeper feelings than just family friends carry. Starting as friends, made it super fun as their families grew closer with each festivity. Hanging out as kids, they planned all kinds of shenanigans including their imaginary dream wedding together based on a shared love of halloween. When they were confident in the relationship they had built and went to plan for their wedding they both realized they had the same dream only to remember the time they had together as kids. Letting their feelings build through the challenges of their separate lives made it so simple to see that they were simply meant to be. Ultimately they have Meagen and Julias sharing a love of a sport, as well as Franco graduating high school to thank for the opportunity to make our dreams come true. This is our road to Zion.
