The beautiful red rocks of Sedona are only a 2 hour drive from Phoenix, so it can make for the perfect day trip with lots of hiking, restaurants, and a beautiful downtown with shops and art galleries.

Favorite hikes: West Fork (shaded in a canyon along a stream), Soldier's Pass, Devil's Bridge (pictured), and Cathedral Rock.

As it's spring training season, there are tons of baseball games going on throughout the area that you could check out.

If you choose to extend your trip, the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 4 hours away where you can hike into the canyon. The West Rim is about 4.5 hours and has the glass skywalk that goes over the canyon ledge.
