As millennials, it is fitting that we met on the "friends of Facebook friends" dating app, Hinge, in June of 2015. Jacqueline was instantly drawn to Kevin's cultural interests and wanderlust (as well as his cute profile picture!). Kevin liked getting to know a woman from the Midwest with classic beauty and sharp intellect. Our first date was over dinner and a movie in downtown Boston. The rest is history!

Since Jacqueline is from a small family and not a native Bostonian, it has been especially dear to her to have been folded into the Donovan family of 11 from early on in her relationship with Kevin. Jacqueline now understands the delight behind family-style dining and monthly birthday celebrations! It is fun having built-in best friends ~ Kevin's siblings and sister-in-laws.

For Kevin, getting to know Jacqueline and her family has expanded his world beyond Boston to different parts of the country. Meeting Jacqueline's family made it clear to Kevin where she received her natural selflessness, generosity and strength.

Managing the hustle and bustle of Boston where Kevin works in enterprise sales at IT consultancy company, Acorio, and Jacqueline as a therapist for Strattus Behavioral Health, can be challenging. We are looking forward to beginning our married life in Waltham, a suburb where we can walk into town from our apartment.

Our love has continued to grow since we met and we are so excited to start our next chapter as a married couple. Our adventure has been such a joy so far and the best is yet to come!
