May our story be an example that true love will find you when you least expect it.It's been almost three years since John messaged Jacqi asking what the best place to get chicken wings in The Valley was. We all know Tinder is used for fleeting encounters and that was the mutual understanding we had. The first date at the Edinburg Birding Center started with a long walk, a deep talk about our families, and a bond built on being Ravenclaws and Disney nerds. This led to "the feels" immediately and unexpectedly. After three months of testing the waters, we made things official in February and celebrated our first Valentine's Day by going to Gladys Porter Zoo.

From late nights playing D&amp;D or watching football with friends to playing Catan with our son, Loucas; we have thought of forever together. From the WesMer drive-in movies to Six Flags Fiesta Texas to shows at the Tower Theater; we have thought of forever together. From bookstores to boba shops to dog parks to Sundays for larping or frisbee; we have thought of forever.And now, officially, forever is here. Other than being the center of our world every day, we are so happy to have our son stand by his dad as Best Man. He met the groom when we was born (special thanks to Dalia) and they've been attached at the board-gaming, frisbee-playing, LARP-ing hips since.

15 years of friendship has included wine dates watching trash tv, getting pulled over jamming to Michael Jackson , and reliving the band glory days. Jacqi's pickle partner in crime can't wait to watch her best friend say "I do" to the man who saved her soul.

John and I became friends because of mutual nerd interests in a comic shop. Our friendship has grown over the years to have even MORE nerd stuff in common. I'm really excited for him and Jacqi to get hitched. Whatever happens John, don't break. Heh-heeeeh!

A friendship cemented in Drum Major punishments as high school seniors has made this bridesmaid a fixture in the bride's life. This voice of reason is actually the one who encouraged Jacqi to listen to her heart and go for it with John. She's excited to finally see the  bride truly happy beside the man she deserves.

A long time friend through board games like Sunblast, LARPing at Wickerwood, late night foam-smithing sessions, and adventurous camping trips; Julez is really looking forward to seeing his buddy finally achieve his happily ever after!

From joining board game night to spreading the KPOP gospel, the bride's favorite shopping buddy (they never say no to each other) and John's only sibling can't wait to dance all night with her new sister.

I've known John for 7 years now’s since meeting at a LARP event during spring break. Some of my favorite memories  include playing Dungeons & Dragons with him teaching me how to play it. I’m looking forward to being able to see my close friend get married.

I'm Jalen! I like long walks on the beach and giant monsters! Met John through the Tower Theatre over five years ago and we just hit it off. It's sappy, but I'll never forget how much John has been there for me. The bride and groom are dear friends of mine, so it'll be sweet to see them cement their love in a legally binding contract.

From summers at Nana's house to watching her band shows, Alysse has been the little sister Jacqi never had. She can't wait to watch the beautiful couple tie the knot and start their new chapter.

John Matt has been my brother from another mother for a little more than a decade when we met at Ticketmaster and his weird vibes matched mine. My favorite memories are filled with game nights and wine times! I am looking forward to building memories with the newlyweds. They're growing up so fast!

He is one of the bride's oldest friends knowing each other since kindergarten when he once traded his scented eraser for Jacqi's favorite movie. He returned it once his mom got ahold of him, though! David is looking forward to seeing the bride surrounded on the dancefloor by all her friends and family.

The bride brought John over to Javi's backyard for a hangout over 2 years ago and it's been fantasy football, wrestling pay per view, and jackbox nights since. Regardless of Randy Orton being mid, this was a fast friendship. This groomsman can't wait for lots of karaoke at the wedding (there is no karaoke).

Jamie and Javier's oldest child and Jacqi's first experience as a "cool tia". She's been a point of sincere joy from the moment Jamie told her she was on the way all those years ago. The bride and groom are so happy to have her join their wedding party!

Get ready to smile! Jaynee is no stranger to the wedding aisle and we can't wait to watch her strut her stuff. She is Jacqi's cousin! Thank you to Tio Joe and Tia Ruby for allowing your pro-flower girl to join us!
