When two people walk into a bar… no, but really, these two actually met at a bar. Jackie and Tyler shared a mutual friend, and now groomsman, Kenny. As usual, Jackie and her friends were going out for her 23rd birthday and Kenny asked if he could bring his roommate, Tyler. “The more the merrier!” is how these occasions typically went. Tyler and Jackie didn’t immediately hit it off, but he did buy her a shot for her birthday. Over the next few weeks the two casually touched base. Tyler asked Jackie to accompany him at the bar again one night to serve as his “wing woman.” Jackie thought she had just made another “bro” friend, and went; however, apparently this was just an excuse for Tyler to get Jackie to go out with him. The couple started dating about a month later and the rest is history. Since then, Jackie and Tyler have grown a love for traveling, concerts, and most importantly - hockey. They bought their first home together in 2021, and Tyler proposed at the top of the Empire State Building in November of 2022. By the time wedding day comes, the two will have been together for almost 9 years!
