October 20, 2024Joe had a master plan in place, starting with a casual breakfast date at&nbsp;The Honey Berry Cafe&nbsp;in Spring Lake. Jacquie thought they were simply fueling up before heading to Laurita Winery for a fall festival. After enjoying a delicious meal, Joe suggested they kill some time at the beach before heading out—an idea that seemed spontaneous but was all part of the plan.Strolling along the boardwalk, Jacquie quickly realized they were at the very spot where Joe famously tripped (or as we like to say, “tripped head over heels for Jacquie”). As they made their way onto the sand, they passed an "undercover photographer" posing as a baby photographer—yes, there was an actual baby involved in the ruse!Once they reached the shore, Joe began reflecting on the incredible year and a half they had shared. Before Jacquie could process what was happening, Joe dropped to one knee and popped the question!If you’ve read the "Our Story" page, you already know Jacquie’s unforgettable first response:&nbsp;"You son of a nutcracker!"—quickly followed by an enthusiastic,&nbsp;"YES!"
