Fort Pickens, an old U.S. military fort dating back to 1834, is one of Garrett’s and my favorite spots to take family and friends. We enjoy the peaceful, less crowded beach, and all the history the island has to offer.
The heart of the Emerald Coast—another favorite! The boardwalk offers great food, drinks, and the chance to see all the beautiful yachts and fishing boats. There are many activity options, such as parasailing, jet-skiing, pontoon boats, charter fishing, dolphin cruises, snorkeling, scuba diving, and more. The boardwalk is also located right by Crab Island, which you can reach by boat, paddleboard, canoe, and more.
