It was August 2018 when Joan and Jailene decided to meet each other at a birthday celebration. They were friends online for quite some time and Joan had feelings for Jailene but she only saw him as a friend. Weeks go by and finally, after endless phone calls and lots of evenings spent watching movies at the movie theater, Jailene started to like Joan and they planned to have dinner together. And the rest, as they say, is history.

On November 3rd, 2023, Joan Silva surprised Jailene Gonzalez by proposing near a beautiful lake in Easter Park.

They’re so excited to start the next phase of their lives together along with their two dogs, Maui and Luna. The couple can’t wait to celebrate with you in November!
