Erika and I are family so I guess we met when we were born! Erika and I grew up in the same town, went to the same schools, played on the same sports teams and basically have always done life together. There’s no way I can contain 30 years worth of memories in such a short space. “People let me tell you ‘bout my best friend.” Erika is everything a girl would want in a friend and Maid of Honor; she is trustworthy, sensible, kind, and knows how to have fun! I can’t imagine my wedding (or life) without her!
Jessica Maloney - Matron of Honor
I’ve known Jessica for what seems like forever - we have so many life memories together. For the past 20 years we have laughed and cried, seen each other at our bests.. and worsts. Some of my best memories with Jess are those memories that seem “simple” or insignificant but when you look back, they are the best ones; picking lupins, kayaking the Cove, walks & talks after work. Jessie is a rare soul; full of love and and light and laughter. Who wouldn’t choose her to be their Matron of Honor?
Gabrielle Radabaugh - Bridesmaid
Gabby came into my life while I was at college in Florida.. We went through undergraduate and then a couple years later, graduate school together.. supporting each other along the way (with many tears shed). Our friendship started out line dancing at country clubs on Fridays and have transitioned into becoming exceptional wives and mothers. Gabby son, Weston is my Godson and he has been such a blessing in my life.. I’ve also enjoyed watching Gabby grow into the amazing woman, wife, mother, and business owner she is today. The last decade of friendship has been so full of joy and I look forward to many more.
Jill Choudhari - Bridesmaid
Jill embodies the very definition of a great friend; reliable, understanding, adventurous, and supportive. Runner up to Erika, I’ve known Jill for about 27 years. Until we met Jessica in 5th grade, it was always just the 3 of us! Jill is an only child so she was oftentimes over at my house where my mom would force her to eat 2nd helpings of meatloaf. If you don’t have a friend like Jill, someone who you share the same sense of humor with or who honestly just gets you - you’re missing out of one of the very rare blessings of this life.
Natalie Russell - Bridesmaid
I’ve known Natalie since high school which is (trying not to cry).. about 15 years ago. She is a testimony of strength, courage, perseverance, and seeing the beauty in life no matter what comes her way. No matter how long it’s been between phone calls or seeing each other, it always feels like no time has passed; we pick right back up. Whenever we hang out I know I’m going to leave with my abs hurting from laughing so much… that, and from eating too much of her moms home-made pizza which I’m obsessed with. Nat is the best of the best!
Oscar - Ring Bearer (Groomsman)
Oscar and I used to always spend the summers together in Poland growing up. If you ever look at older photos of him and I, our moms always used to make us match (which we both hated). I've always regarded him as my brother and we would always get into trouble together. From doing donuts in the family’s fiat on his grandpa’s ranch, to getting lost in the woods as we played soldier, the adventures never ceased. He is my brother I got to bully as a kid and he has always had my back growing up.
Matthew - Best Man
My first encounter with Matthew was when I hit him across the head with a chair in church when we were kids. Little did we know, that would be the start of a lifelong friendship. A type of friendship where the crazy stories just keep writing themselves. From the weekly fishing trips, to digging out the jeep from the mudding adventures, we spent a good part of our lives together and I have always regarded him as a brother. In fact, we would spend every week of our lives together until the Air Force made us go our separate ways. Glad to have him as my Best Man.
Bryan - Groomsman
I first met Bryan at the beginning of college and spent a total of 4 years together as dorm mates. Throughout college, Bryan challenged me to be the best pilot I could be, while racing each other to each pilot rating. By chasing down his dream job in United, having a family, and a nice house, he’s served as a role model for me. He's also always given me the best advice when I needed it. I'm lucky to have him by my side on one of the most important days of my life.
Rich - Groomsman
Rich and I first started out in the same class together in pilot training. He's an outspoken New Yorker and a fiercely loyal friend. W've taken the skies of Afghanistan and Kuwait together while flying C130s. He has always pushed me to be a better pilot, been there for me, and never ceases to make me stop laughing with his antics. Couldn't imagine my wedding without him standing up there with me.
Adam - Groomsman
Adam and I had also met in pilot training but really became friends when he came to fly C130s up in Little Rock. He is the guy you always ask to go on an adventure with. If it isn’t camping/floating in random places in Arkansas, it’s hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro. It's always an easy-going, fun time when we hang. He almost never says no to an adventure and is actually planning a hike up to base camp on Mt. Everest as we speak?
Ryan - Groomsman
Ryan and I had met in middle school and he was that friend I could always nerd out with when it came to flying in the military. We spent countless days watching planes at the nearby airport, playing flight simulator games on his computer, and driving to Airshows together. He has definitely helped me get to where I am today and inspired me by relentlessly chasing his own dreams in aviation.
