We will be sharing the weekend with ACL which is a huge music festival held in Austin every year! It will be running on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will announce the line up in the coming months, but if you have a favorite artist playing on Friday or Saturday (sorry we're stealing ya on Sunday), book. those.tickets. It's a great way to experience an Austin staple while you're in town!

There are a ton of places along Lady Bird Lake (right downtown) or Lake Austin (little outside of the city, but so pretty) that offer paddle board, kayak and even boat rentals. There are also some restaurants along the lakes to check out where you can ride up and park your "vessel".

Austin has lots of comedians famous and up and coming nestled all around. Check out one of comedy clubs like Comedy Mothership, Creek and the Cave or Cap City!

South Congress is a great street to check out. Lots of high end shopping, restaurants (Aba is our fave. You'll need a reservationwell in advance), a couple music venues (Continental Club and C-Boy's Heart and Soul are pretty cool) and some coffee shops/bars!

Austin is the live music capital of the US (I know, we thought it was Nashville before we got here too) and there are tons of bars and venues that have live music all the time. Check out Austin Indie Music on insta for postings on the weekend of!
