It all started when Jake asked the "JMU girl" to be his workout partner at XIIX Bootcamp. Haley left not feeling well and it was the perfect excuse for Jake to reach out to her. A first date at SkipTown, a dog bar in Charlotte, soon followed.

Once he secured the second date(this took some persistence from Jake), the rest was history. A year flew by, doing all their favorite things; working out, brewery hopping, and football games. Haley then decided it was time for a fur baby and that's when Moose came into the picture.

The new family of 3 moved into their first house in March of 2023. With a few updates and projects for Jake it quickly felt like home.

On August 25th 2023, Jake proposed at the VanLandingHam Estate where he told Haley he loved her. We are excited for the future together as husband and wife and look forward to the new memories we will make together.
