Our Wedding

We first met at Buckhorn prom in high school as two teenagers who had no idea that night would change everything. After that summer, we got to know each other even better and quickly became inseparable over Christmas break.  When Jake went back to Purdue to play baseball, we started our long-distance chapter. For two years, we cheered each other on from miles apart, growing up and learning along the way. Eventually, life led us down different paths for a little while, but as it turns out, God had other plans.   After Jake graduated, we found our way back to each other, and it truly felt like coming home. This past summer, he proposed at Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. We even got to recreate all of our favorite “Notebook” moments!  Now we can’t wait to start the next chapter, forever. 🤍

Location: About 10 minutes to our venue, close proximity to the Charleston Airport. If you are flying into Charleston for the wedding only, this would be a great option for you. They offer a complimentary airport shuttle, as well as anywhere within a 5 mile radius.

Location: About 15 minutes from our venue, directly on King Street. If you are looking to experience the heart of downtown Charleston, this would be a great option for you.

Location: About 20 minutes from our venue, directly on Shem Creek. If you are looking to experience the beautiful waterfront views of Charleston, local seafood restaurants, and a Lowcountry atmosphere right outside your door, this would be a great option for you.

Location: About 20 minutes from our venue, in historic Old Village. If you are looking to experience a charming boutique inn located in the heart of Old Village, with one of Charleston’s most beloved neighborhood restaurants just downstairs, this is a great option for you.

Location: About 20 minutes from our venue, in the heart of Charleston’s French Quarter. Known as the Iconic Pink Hotel for 170 years & counting. If you are looking to enjoy Charleston’s historic French Quarter, this would be a great option for you.

The Mills House Hotel (Downtown Charleston)

Location: About 15 minutes from our venue. If you looking to stay somewhere centrally located to all areas of Charleston, with easy access to the bridge, this would be a great choice for you. The hotel is known to be family friendly, with great outdoor activities.
