Jake and Lauren are such common names that, as you can imagine, most variations of these names for the website’s URL were taken. The name 'Wake' began as a nickname among Jake’s friends, where they would switch their first and last initials. 'Wake' has since become Jake’s online personal brand, and many people believe this is his actual given name. When Lauren was very young, her 'u’s' looked more like 'v’s', so when she spelled her name, it looked like 'Lavren'. An old family friend began calling her this, and Lauren insists Jake started calling her this after hearing that story. Jake, however, insists he came up with the name on his own — a real chicken-and-egg debate that we will never have the answer to.

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it, please indicate your absence by declining the invitation on the RSVP tab of our website so we can plan accordingly. If you do not respond by the deadline of X date, your “no” will automatically be filled in for you and your attendance will be counted absent. If you experience last-minute changes, please reach out.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP on the website. Thank you for understanding!

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes in advance to ensure everyone is settled in their seats before the beginning of the ceremony.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Fox Hollow, in the Garden Terrace.

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting). Cocktail hour will have both indoor and outdoor options. The reception will be indoors, however, you will still be able to access the outdoor area and garden as soon as the ceremony taking place in the venue's other room has concluded.

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best black tie/formal cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographers to be able to capture the best pictures, which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like, and don't forget to share them with us!

Our venue has free on-site valet parking. We encourage guests staying in our hotel block to utilize our shuttle bus (add schedule blah blah) or to Uber/Lyft otherwise.

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you — get ready to party! For this reason, we encourage guests staying in our hotel block to utilize our shuttle bus services to and from the venue, or Uber/Lyft otherwise. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.
