Now he casually works with your favorite professional athletes, name-drops NFL players like they’re old high school friends, and probably has more blue checkmarks in his phone than Jake has socks. Sully's always got a camera in one hand and a Twisted Tea in the other. Will argue with you about literally anything — and somehow still win.

Morgan is Lauren’s younger sister and built in best friend since 2001 (we don’t need to talk about all the times she bit me growing up…). She used to always be known as ‘Lauren’s sister’ growing up, but now, more often than not, it’s me being asked if I’m ‘Morgan’s sister,’ which I couldn’t be more proud to answer yes to. She’s kind, determined, passionate, thoughtful, and adventurous. She might be younger than me, but she's wise beyond her years and makes me a better person everyday!

The youngest Weiss sibling and the family’s unofficial sports encyclopedia. Truman can name the high school batting average of a third-string shortstop from 2004 — and will, without being asked. He's a baseball phenom, soon-to-be-college freshman, and lover of all things athletic gear: massage guns, headphones, helmets, you name it. He may be the baby of the family, but don’t let that fool you — he’s got big opinions, bigger stats, and somehow always wins the group chat arguments with sheer sports knowledge and stubbornness alone.

Alyssa has been Lauren’s best friend since high school, where we ran XC/Track together, ruled the nerds of National Honor Society, drove our French teacher crazy, and finished every lunch hour laughing so hard we were crying. Alyssa and I spent so much time together that we frequently got called by one another’s names. She's the only person I know who can go head to head with me when it comes to eating copious amounts of ice cream. Now Alyssa is living it up in MN, but we still find time to see each other as often as possible.

Jake and Russ have been best friends since Kindergarten — from childhood to college and into adulthood, Russ has been a constant: loyal, steady, and always showing up for the people he loves. Now a supply chain analyst by day and legendary Bloody Mary maker by weekend, Russ brings people together wherever he goes. When the party ramps up, “Roscoe” might make a brief appearance — but underneath it all is a heart of gold and a friend Jake couldn’t imagine this day without.

Kayla and Lauren go all the way back to preschool, and have been walking through life together since, from elementary school through college. She is one of the wisest, kindest, and goofiest people you will ever have the blessing of knowing. She has a heart for Jesus, lakes, coconut shrimp and Bernese mountain dogs. She’s always up for an adventure– and just know that if she’s in charge of planning it, there’s no saying where it’ll take you!

Another ride-or-die from childhood turned college roommate. In years past, Zach was a die-hard soccer guy with a full-blown Zlatan Ibrahimović obsession and a deep, borderline poetic love for Busch Light. Somewhere along the way, he swapped the Busch for tequila and the cleats for golf clubs. Now spends his free time giving people savvy financial advice and golfing constantly. No seriously — like, “is this man training for the PGA?” levels of golfing. Might try to chip one into the reception tent.

Zoe and Lauren became fast friends at the beginning of medical school, and sat through every single lecture together and spent countless hours studying with one another in the library and anatomy lab. Through it all, we helped keep each other’s heads square on our shoulders. Zoe is Lauren’s go to advisor for new music, rom com movies, and fashion advice. Most importantly, she keeps me updated on Taylor Swift's instagram posts. She’s the ultimate hype woman, and anyone who knows her can attest to what an amazing person and friend she is!

Jake met Gavin through sports, and they've been laughing (and trash-talking) ever since. A former Air Force guy turned engineer, Gavin somehow manages to balance dad jokes, trap music, and total chaos with perfect ease. He’s silly, loyal, and always down for whatever. He just bought his first house (big adult moves!), but please do not trust him with a secret — his excitement cannot be contained. Expect him to bring the energy and probably a playlist that’ll get your grandma side-eyeing the speaker.

Alyssa and Lauren met their freshman year of college in a gen ed speech class, where they tied for earning the title of teachers pet. From then on they remained close friends, going on hours of coffee walks together. Alyssa went on to get her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and the life advice she’s always given me so freely is now professional (and still free). Alyssa is one of the most outgoing, easy to talk to people, and she’s slowly making everyone around her a cat person… my house included.

Jake and Adam first connected through sports, where Adam consistently racked up goals in soccer and ran the basketball court like it was his own personal stage. Since then, they’ve shared some legendary memories, including a few rowdy Miami trips that will not be detailed here. Adam recently returned to the Midwest from Arizona (yes, he's still burnt), and works in finance. He’s the kind of guy who’ll give you solid investment advice and convince you to take a tequila shot before noon — a dangerous combo, but we’re not complaining.

Gwen and Lauren met in medical school and are going on their 3rd year as roommates. Gwen can simultaneously put more miles on a bike (Half Ironman Athlete!!) and watch more hours of Love Island (that part I’m happy to join in on) in a day than anyone I know. She’ll never turn down a game of cards or beach volleyball, she tolerates the objectively unfunny onslaught of tweets I constantly send her, and I can’t imagine having shared so much of the last 4 years of my life with anyone else!

Childhood neighbor and certified wild card. Croix is the only person in this group who has, at some point, barked at a stranger. He’s got a major sweet tooth (sour candy and sugary gum are his lifeblood) and a heart of gold. After playing college soccer, he now works as a paraeducator for middle school students with special needs, where his kindness and humor shine every day. You never quite know what to expect with Croix — which is exactly why everyone loves having him around.

Emma and Lauren met in medical school, where they quickly bonded over their love of Badger basketball and religiously went to every single home game together– even if it was at 8pm on a Tuesday (which is late for us). Emma is Lauren and Gwen’s third roommate, and she manages to keep the house clean, decorate for every holiday, and keep us supplied with endless amounts of wine, cookies, and her famous ‘snack mix’– she truly is the house mom. She’s full of hilarious one-liners that’ll make you say hee hee hee… ;) She has a heart of gold and is truly the best of friends.

Baseball teammates turned lifelong friends. Chad was the class clown growing up — the guy jumping off things he probably shouldn’t and making everyone laugh while doing it. Now? He’s a digital marketer, marathon runner, clean-eating health guy who still manages to be the life of the party. Somehow he balances his life as a health nut and a party legend — he'll bring green juice in the morning and tequila by sunset. Also casually runs a wedding videography side hustle. So yes, he may be judging our angles.

Emily may be Jake’s younger sister, but she’ll beat him in a roast battle any day. One of the very first things that Emily told Lauren when they met was that she couldn’t wait to share all of the embarrassing stories she had about Jake – and then proceeded to pull out her list and do so. She’s been holding her own with the boys for almost 20 years, and I can’t wait to join her team. Emily immediately welcomed me with open arms, and I couldn't ask for a better future sister-in-law!

Jake and Lukas’ friendship began with a legendary one-month bender the summer before med school — a final hurrah before anatomy lab stole their souls. Since then, Lukas has been the ringleader of fun, balancing med school chaos with early morning fishing trips and unsolicited lectures on exotic fish or 14th-century pirate ships. A future anesthesiologist and part-time trivia machine, Lukas is equal parts wild child and outdoorsman. He’s proof you can crush boards and shotgun a beer — often in the same 24 hours.

Ricker and Jake were college roommates for four years — basically a common-law marriage in roommate terms. They survived pre-health stress and O-Chem together, living by the motto: study hard, party harder. Now a GI physician assistant in Green Bay, Ricker is a marathon-running, Busch Light–chugging outdoorsman who somehow keeps his flannel crisp. He splits his time between camo and blasting Travis Scott like he’s preparing for tour. Equal parts country grit and rap game loyalty, Ricker always brings the energy — and a mysteriously endless beer supply.

Barni has been a steady, generous, and hilarious friend to both Jake and Lauren — long before they were “Jake and Lauren.” He’s one of those rare people who challenges you to be a better version of yourself just through your friendship with him. Barni is a former UW class president who gave the graduation speech in a packed Camp Randall, so we promise you're in good hands. He’s got an infectious laugh, an even better smile, and a suspicious number of acquaintances at every venue. If you don’t know Barni yet, look forward to meeting him soon!
