The Westport area has plenty of nice accommodations, from B&B’s to boutique hotels to rooms above pubs. Of course there are also plenty of VRBO/AirBnB’s available too. Interestingly, many hotels may have ‘triple rooms’, three beds in a room, generally queens, which can be great for bigger families. In Westport

Westport Plaza Hotel, Spa & Leisure Beautiful hotel and spa. Right in the village of Westport.

Clew Bay Hotel Nice hotel right in the village of Westport.

Westport Coast Hotel This hotel is located just outside the village, about 1.3 miles from the heart of the town. It is on the bay, a gorgeous area, some water activities just outside, much quieter than the village of Westport but still withing walking distance if you fancy getting your steps in!

Outside of Westport

Ashford Castle Well, not too much to say about Ashford Castle except that it is stunning! 800 years old, about 45 minutes to Westport, it sits on Lough Corrib, has immense gardens, falcon training, spas, amazing restaurants, impressive wine cellar and wine tastings, boat tours, fishing, golf etc. The Quite Man was filmed in this area and John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara and crew stayed here during filming. This is a five star resort and priced as such. Book everything for Ashford Castle in advance as much as you can.
