Jim and Jo met on Bumble in February of 2022, just as life started to return to some sort of normalcy after the pandemic. They had their first date at an Irish pub in Montclair, New Jersey. They talked for hours and closed the place down. As the night came to an end, At Last by Etta James came over the speakers in the pub. Jo mentioned how much she loved the song. Jim asked her to dance. The wait staff began lifting all the chairs onto the tables for the night. Jo didn't think he was serious. He got up and extended his hand. She accepted. They danced their first dance. The rest is history.
