Where is the wedding taking place?
Our wedding will be at Deerwoode Reserve in Brevard, North Carolina. The ceremony will be outdoors to enjoy the beautiful scenery, and the reception will be indoors at the Event Center, located on the same property.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony begins at 2:00 PM, but please arrive and be seated by 1:45 PM so we can start on time.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony is planned for outdoors, but we have an indoor backup plan in case of bad weather.
Why are we incorporating our religion into the ceremony?
Our faith is the foundation of our relationship and our future together. We believe marriage is not only a commitment to each other but also a covenant before God. Including elements of our faith in the ceremony allows us to honor what matters most to us as we begin this new chapter.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the moment. Feel free to snap away during the reception!
Will there be a reception afterward?
Yes! The reception will be indoors at the Event Center on the same property.
What should I wear?
The dress code is “church clothes”—think semi-formal or dressy casual. Dresses, skirts, dress pants, button-down shirts, and nice shoes are perfect. Since the ceremony is outdoors, consider comfortable shoes.
Can I bring a plus-one?
You can request a plus-one when you RSVP, but due to venue capacity limits, we can’t guarantee that every request will be accepted. We’ll let you know if your request is approved or denied after reviewing RSVPs.
Do you have a gift registry?
Yes! Our registry details are available on the Registry page of this website.
