We met in April of 2022, on the most romantic place in the world... the internet. After a few dates, breweries, dinners and a successful escape room we had to put each other's skiing abilities to the test before we could take it any further. Safe to say, Brandon could keep up.

After a few months we went on a canoe trip in BC with some friends. Four days in the wilderness and navigating swampy waters we were pretty sure this was it, even though Brandon says he knew a week in.

Over the last few years our lives have been full of travel, camping, skiing and all of our many hobbies. If you live in Red Deer you've probably been invited over for a homemade pasta night, an afternoon at Belly Hop, or been on a scooter adventure with us.

Following Brandon's sister's wedding, he told Jamie he could not wait much longer to propose. Jamie said he was not allowed to in 2023 and he would have to wait.

But come January 1, 2024, amidst a thrilling ski trip to Revelstoke, Brandon found his moment. He whisked Jamie away on a hike to an awe-inspiring lookout above Lake Revelstoke. He popped the question with the help of a local photographer that he had been planning with for months to orchestrate the perfect proposal.
