Steve and Jamie both swiped right on Bumble. As you may know with Bumble, the ladies need to initiate the conversation. Jamie asked Steve how his weekend went and Steve decided to respond to this message.


Shortly after, they had their first date at Royal Oak High School playing tennis. This mostly consisted of both of them standing on the service line, rallying the ball back and forth and Jamie asking any question she could. Steve did not say much :) At this time, Steve had a dreamy mullet (refer to photo section). At the end of the date, Steve asked for Jamie's phone number and thought he was given a fake one. Needless to say, there may have been some uncertainty (on both ends).


A few other dates later, it was clear Jamie and Steve enjoyed each others company and made things official. Since then Jamie and Steve have enjoyed being competitive with each other, watching/ attending sports events, traveling as much as possible, and adopting their puppy (refer to photo section).


Jamie and Steve got engaged at Zion National Park on Observation Point Trail in May 2023. It was a beautiful and unforgettable day!
