Jamie and Melissa met at KinderCare when they were months old. Despite going separate ways for grade school and college, they managed to stay close friends over the past 35 years. Luckily the advancement in technology allows easier communication these days versus writing letters sent via USPS as they did when they were younger ;)

Jennifer and Jamie are sisters. They both attended MSU and Jamie was 1 grade level older. In their 20s and early 30s they have enjoyed many trips together including San Francisco, Denver, Greece, Italy, New Orleans, and more!

Amy and Jamie were in the same cohort and met first year of Graduate School. They were roommates during their second year at UofM and took advantage of the many great things Ann Arbor had to offer including restaurants, craft beer, and kayaking the Huron River.

Jamie and Maya met in Graduate School. Jamie was notorious for showing up to events and accidentally matching someone. This picture was probably the best accidental match. Maya and Jamie both lived on the East Coast after Grad School and had a great time doing a few weekend trips.

Jamie and Kellisa (Kelly) met in Graduate School. Jamie was initially Kelly's mentor her first year. They bonded over their love of food and cooking/baking.

Morgan and Jamie went to Graduate School together. Post graduate school, they both relocated to NJ for jobs. Morgan and Jamie had many adventures nights in the Jersey City/ Hoboken/ Manhattan area!

George and Steve met through friends and were friends of friends until Steve found himself homeless after a lease ended while in a search to buy a new home. George and his Wife Caitlin took Steve in and allowed him to sleep in the basement under the stairs. This started a journey of becoming close friends and sharing many passions.

Brian and Steve met at Freshman orientation at MSU in 2008. Upon moving in to the dorms in the fall they found themselves both living on 4 East in Holden Hall. In 2010 they moved in together at 127 Stoddard in East Lansing. After college they both found themselves living in the Detroit area.

Mitch and Steve met when a potential roommate fell through and Mitch took open spot living with Steve at 127 Stoddard. Mitch and Steve found themselves being roommates in Detroit years later in an apartment in Lafayette Park.

Kirk and Steve met in Freshman year of college at MSU. They quickly learned that although they went to different high schools they actually grew up less than a mile from one another. After college both Kirk and Steve found themselves living in Detroit and years later both bought houses in Ferndale equal distance away from one another from where they grew up.

Matt and Steve have known each other the longest of all the Groomsmen for a total of 33 years (34 by the wedding date). Matt is the oldest brother of Steve and although there were some rough patches in the early years they have learned to tolerate each other in their later years.

Kevin and Steve have known each other for the second longest amount of time for a total of 28 years (29 at the time of the wedding) although in his defense meeting Steve earlier would have been difficult due to not being born yet. Kevin is Steve's youngest brother and like with Matt have had their ups and downs but have grown to accept each other and have grown closer in their later years.
