Guest Shuttle Service
We have a shuttle service booked for folks staying in Grass Valley or Nevada City. There is one pick-up and drop off location in Grass Valley (Gold Miners Inn) and one pick up and drop off location in Nevada City (The National Exchange Hotel). You can use this shuttle if you are staying anywhere in town as it is quite walkable. And yes, it is a school bus :)
There are two pick up times before and after the ceremony. If you are ready early before the ceremony, please plan to take the earlier shuttle. We will have games and beverages set out, and the venue is a beautiful place to walk around and explore. We will reach out to you directly if we would like you to be at the venue early for some pictures. There are two pick up times for the end of the evening. One for those who wish to leave after the reception ends, and one late night pick up for anyone who wishes to stay for the after party.

2:20 pm- The National Exchange Hotel, Nevada City
2:40 pm- Harmony Ridge Lodge, Nevada City
3:05 pm- Gold Miners Inn, Grass Valley
3:25 pm- The National Exchange Hotel, Nevada City
Post Ceremony (the shuttle will arrive about 10 minutes early and will depart promptly at the times below):
10:20 pm- Harmony Ridge Lodge, Nevada City
10:40 pm- The National Exchange Hotel, Nevada City
11:00 pm- Gold Miners Inn, Grass Valley
11:22 pm - Harmony Ridge Lodge, Nevada City (last shuttle from the venue for the night)
11:47 pm - The National Exchange Hotel, Nevada City

Gold Miners Inn Grass Valley, Ascend Hotel Collection
We have a two night room block on hold at Gold Miner's Inn, this will be for the discounted rate of $240.49. If you are only interested in one night you may book that directly through the hotel or online, at the normal nightly rate of $274.99. This is a central Grass Valley Location. Shuttle pick up site.
Holbrooke Hotel
This is a beautiful and historic hotel located in downtown Grass Valley. Recently remodeled with stunning, quaint rooms, and fun bars inside. Walking distance to the shuttle pick up site Gold Miners Inn. If you are looking for a more festive stay.
The National Exchange Hotel
Nevada City's historic hotel. Also recently remodeled, and so lovely. We will be staying here Thursday night before and Sunday night after the wedding. This will be a shuttle pick up spot. Fun place to stay in the center of Nevada City. Easy walking access to all of the fantastics shops and food.
The 1856 Speakeasy Suites
Another fun, historic spot in downtown Nevada City. Old saloon speakeasy style. Easy walk to the shuttle pick up spot.
Grass Valley Courtyard Suites
Another great option in downtown Grass Valley. A bit quieter, peaceful. Still walkable to the shuttle pick up location.
AirBnB
There are lots of great housing options available on AirBnB if you are hoping to find space for a group or just want something more private. Recommend staying in Grass Valley or Nevada City if you hope to use the shuttle service. Scotts Flat lake is also nearby as a beautiful beach day option.
Camping
If you are looking for a more rustic, budget friendly option there are lots of campgrounds in the area. Scotts Flat Lake campground is nearby, with many hiking trails nearby. You will also have access to the beach, there are kayak rentals available.
Airport Travel
Sacramento International Airport and Reno-Tahoe International Airport are your two closest airports. Both will take (around) 1 hr and 20 minutes to get into Nevada City. You will likely need a rental car. If you are hoping to extend your stay and enjoy some time in the beautiful and nearby Lake Tahoe, Reno airport may be your best bet.
