Jamie and Ian meet for the first time through their mutual friend, Brennan. Shortly after meeting each other, they spent that time together dancing, talking about their lives, and remembering the Alamo.

After non-stop calls and texts over the next 2 months, Ian visits Jamie in Houston for the first time. The connection was immediate and both knew there was something special. They spent their time having a picnic in the park, golfing, and seeing Jamie's favorite spots around town.

Ian can't resist, and visits Houston AGAIN! They spent their time visiting the Museum of Fine Arts, putt-putt, and the drive in.

The first "official" day of dating (although we all know the writing was on the wall way before that). The couple celebrated Ian graduating from OU, and Jamie met all of Ian's family at that time. She loved connecting with them so early in their relationship. Ian showed Jamie the sights of OKC, such as the Banjo museum (where they got an impromptu lesson).

Ian, without having met any of Jamie's family, comes up to her sister, Kylie's, wedding in North Carolina. He immediately connects with everyone and the couple sees the shape of their future family.

After no convincing at all, Ian moves to Houston! Yes, it was for a job, but we all know the real reason ;) As collateral damage, he also falls in love with pickle ball (thank you Rachel Nielson)!

While visiting Hayden Lake over Christmas, Ian asks Jamie's parents for her hand in marriage!!! (spoiler: they said yes)

Ian plans a scavenger hunt throughout Houston of their favorite memory spots, ending with a proposal at the Museum of Fine Arts. Ian surprised Jamie even further by inviting her family and friends to celebrate together!
