Q + A

What day do I need to RSVP by?

In order to get an accurate count for food and seating, we are asking all guests to RSVP by September 1, 2024. Any guests who do not RSVP by this time will not be able to attend, but will be missed!

What does transportation/parking look like at the venue?

There is plenty of parking on site! We always encourage to carpool when possible, but there are plenty of spaces available. Unfortunately, no shuttles are available to the venue.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Guests should prepare to be outside! However, in Houston, October is still lovely even into the evening. Inside spaces will be available as well.

What is the dress code?

Garden Cocktail Attire. Although it will be October, the couple encourages guests to envision Springtime! We recommend a dress shirt or suit for gentlemen, and a nice dress or jumpsuit for ladies. We do ask you refrain from wearing whites, creams, or champagne colors to reserve for the bride.

Can I bring my plus one or children?

Your RSVP will indicate the amount of seats reserved in your honor. We kindly ask that you do not bring more people than what is reserved for you. We have a limited amount of seats available and unfortunately can't provide everyone a plus one.

What time will the reception end?

The reception must end 4 hours after the start, so it will be around 9:30. HOWEVER - for those wanting to continue the celebration, there is an after-party at the lodge connected to the reception space.

Where should we stay?

Please visit our Travel page for more in depth information, but there is a Holiday Inn Express that is less than 5 minutes away from the venue. If you would like to have more options, there are plenty of hotels in Sugarland, which is about 30 minutes North-East of the venue, and on the way back into Houston.
