What does Dressy Casual / Mountain Chic mean?

Less formal than cocktail attire but more formal than your usual weekend going-out attire, plus any rustic or woodsy flare that you want to add. It'll be October in New England, dress accordingly for potentially crisp Fall weather! Sometimes it's warm and sometimes it's cold in October. For our travelers from California, you may want to bring a warm jacket for the welcome dinner and ceremony, which will be outside.

Transportation on the Wedding Day

The reception is on a mountaintop, so you can either ride the ski lift or take the shuttle bus to the top. The King Pine ski lift will start running at 2:30 and stop running at 3:15. The bus will leave from the King Pine parking lot at 3:00. There is plenty of parking in the King Pine parking lot, so feel free to drive and park there if you'd like. For those who want to ditch their car entirely, the shuttle will be picking up guests to bring them to King Pine, as follows: 2:10 pm – The Inn 2:15 pm – The Mill 2:20 pm – Island View 2:40 pm – Mountainside 3:00 pm – Drop off @ ski lift We will also have shuttle buses from the reception venue to your lodging at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:15 p.m.

What if it's raining?

The backup location for the Welcome Dinner and the Ceremony is the Fireplace Room at King Pine.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be a full open bar at the Welcome Dinner and a beer and wine open bar at the Cocktail Hour / Reception. If you would like to purchase other types of drinks at the Cocktail Hour or Reception, a full cash bar will be available as well.

Who can I contact about questions in the days leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day?

If you have questions that aren't answered here on in the emails we've sent, you can contact our wedding planner, Sheena Abbott, at 603-986-5525. Please don't contact us on our wedding day with questions!

We have dietary restrictions, will there be food for us?

Yes, we plan to have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available at the Welcome Dinner and Reception! The on-site restaurant also has vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. If you need a place to cook, some of the lodging options have kitchens and kitchenettes.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after party?

The reception will end at 10pm. There is no after party as those days have come and gone for us ;)

When and where is the babysitting?

We will have 4 well-vetted babysitters in the Fireplace Room, which is next to the reception area, from 5-10pm. They will have toys and games to play with, but feel free to bring anything else your kiddos might want! If you RSVP'd that your kid(s) will eat with the babysitters, their name card will say "Fireplace Room."

Can I take photos and post on social media? Do you have a hashtag for posts?

Of course! Please post and tag us so we can find them later. If you are reading this and asking what's a hashtag, then don't worry about it because we aren't using one.

Registry, Gifts, and Cards

We already have everything we need! But we've set up a Honeyfund if you insist on giving us a gift. If you would like to bring gifts or cards with you, you can also bring them to the Reception at King Pine.

Who should I talk to about accessibility as well as health and safety measures if I need help?

Please contact Jamie or Renee if you have any concerns about or need help with accessibility or health & safety.
