Our story is a love at second sight, after a year of existing under the same school bells and taking turns reading different Shakespearean characters. Our story begins with braces and soccer games, followed by the weight of crowns at prom and tassels at graduation. Our story then stretched 320 miles between Boone and Wilmington, with weekend visits easing the distance. Since then, sand sleeps beside the continuation of our story, waves kissing the shore as we paint footsteps across our world. Together we've flown above mountains and stopped at more small-town gas stations than one might deem necessary. Today, we look forward to celebrating our tale of love and laughter. Our once upon a time that feels like liquid sunlight as it holds the heart's hand. Our wedding is not only a union of last names, but an uplifting of true love. An appreciation of our past, but also a promise that time will not fade the language we have built between our souls.
