We advise you to book early as there are limited rooms available at this hotel. While we have blocked a group of rooms, there are currently multiple events going on at the Hyatt House the same weekend as our wedding. We can try and increase the number of blocked rooms at the Hyatt House under our wedding if we know fairly soon that our allotted number of rooms has filled up. The closer the date gets to the wedding, the less likely we will be able to increase the number of rooms in our block! Let us know if you have any trouble booking.
Reservations can be cancelled at no charge so if you are unsure, just book it to be safe! Let us know if the room block fills up so we can request additional rooms, if we need to.
Use the link above to reserve your room. You can also call the hotel directly to book and give the code G-RILA to receive the discounted rate.
There is not currently a block of rooms at this hotel for our wedding. There is no discount code or discounted rate. This is a secondary accommodation near the venue in case the Hyatt House gets filled up.
If you're flying into New York for the wedding, first of all, thank you!!! We appreciate such an effort by any of our guests to travel far to join us in celebrating this special day.
Regional airports include LaGuardia Airport, JFK International Airport, Newark Airport and Westchester County Airport.
Westchester County Airport is the closest airport to the venue and to the Hyatt House (3.5 miles). Its a small county owned airport. There are not many direct flights into and out of this airport but the proximity to Rye could allow for you to save time and money getting to and from the airport. Note the free shuttle transportation from the Hyatt excludes this airport, but it is a 3.5 mile cab ride and car rentals are available at the airport.
LaGuardia Airport is the second closest airport to the venue (approximately 23 miles). Transportation to and from LGA would typically be by cab or Uber. It would likely be a $100+ Uber or cab ride, not including tip. Without traffic, the ride is about 30 minutes.
You could take public transportation via the bus to the subway to Grand Central Station and take the Metro North Railroad New Haven (red) line to the Rye Station. Cabs from Rye Station typically cost around $10. The public transportation route could take close to 2 hours.
Car rentals are available at LaGuardia Airport.
JFK International Airport is the third closest airport to Rye, NY (30 miles). There's a free sky train that you can take from the airport to the NYC Metro Subway. The subway can take you into Grand Central Train Station and you can take the New Haven Line on the Metro North Railroad from Grand Central Station to the Rye Station. There are usually cabs waiting outside the train station and you could also get an Uber from the train station to the Hyatt house or Crawford Park. This is also a less expensive but time consuming way to travel (almost 2 hours depending on train schedules).
The Hyatt House offers free shuttle service (Monday through Friday) within a 5 mile radius and the Rye Station is 3.5 miles from the hotel. So you can also arrange for a free shuttle to pick you up at the Rye Station and take you to the Hyatt House. This service can be arranged by contacting the Front Desk.
Hyatt House Free Shuttle Hours

There are also shuttles available from JFK International Airport available for purchase through: www.nycairporter.com. For $13 you can get on a shuttle to Grand Central Station and then purchase a ticket at Grand Central to Rye, NY through the New Haven Line. This route would take you about an hour and a half.
Car rentals are available at JFK International Airport.
The Metro North Railroad will get you to and from NYC in just under an hour. This is usually a local train with stops in Harrison, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Fordham Road, 125th Street and Grand Central Station. Amtrak stops at New Rochelle, so if you are coming in on an Amtrak Train, you can transfer to the Metro North New Haven Railroad line in New Rochelle and then go north 4 more stops to Rye.
