It was 2017 and Janelle was sick at home, washing dishes in her pajamas, when a mutual friend brought Martin over, unannounced. They immediately fell in love, and have since spent as much time as possible together.
In 2018 Martin and Janelle said goodbye to Williamsport, and moved to Pittsburgh, to be able to spend more time with Emma.
In 2020, Martin and Janelle purchased their first house together, and made it into a home.
In 2022, Martin and Janelle gave Emma a new little brother, Giovanni. In 2024, they completed their family with another little boy, Valentino.
In 2025, Martin purposed to Janelle, in the kitchen of their home, bringing their story full circle to the moment they met.
